CBT Groups For Women
Feel more confident and capable as a working mum
My groups are aimed at women who have had a child and would like some help to strengthen their confidence in their ability, both as a mother and with juggling the demands of work and family life.
The groups are small (maximum of 6 people) in order for you to feel safe enough to be open about your experiences and allow me to pay due attention to you individually, in order to apply a CBT understanding and solutions to your particular experience.
There is often very little in the way of support for women who are returning to work after maternity leave, and it is hugely beneficial to be able to meet other women in a similar position, and learn how to apply CBT to your thoughts, feelings, and responses as a working or soon-to-be-working mum.
In the groups, I will help you to learn more about: your own self-esteem and how to increase it; where some of the unhelpful beliefs you might have held about yourself come from; tackling unhelpful negative thoughts about yourself; reminding yourself of, and paying more attention to, your strengths and positive qualities; and the importance of being kinder to yourself.
